Download Crosshair Overlay

Edited as of 10/19/13 Hello friends. I wanted a custom crosshair/reticle and using a mumble overlay sounded more appealing to me than running an overlay program combined with Tribes in windowed mode. I created a hybrid of solutions provided by Boulop, Mstarr and ChickenNWaffles in order to meet my needs. This shows the mumble cross hair (small green dot) between my blue CS crosshair to show it is centered in the screen. The album also shows the different overlay options, friends list scaled large, friends list scaled small, and no friends list. Scale does not affect the crosshair.

Overlays must be enabled in mumble for this to work, so I provided a mumble overlay which does not include the default friends list which you can use if you prefer not to have one. The crosshairs do scale with screen resolution. The same green dot crosshair can be seen in a lower resolution. So if you do not use 1920x1080 you might need to edit the crosshairs. Enough talk, you can download the.7z file here: • Follow the detailed ReadMe • You probably need the latest version of Mumble • You need to be playing in your monitor's native resolution or the game will freak out • Mumble needs to be running for this to work • You do not need to be connected to a Mumble server • • • • •. BEST EDIT: Fixed this, works for me with 1.2.4-rc1-8-gb115a29 (Snapshot) of This looks very similar to which i'm pretty sure chickenNwaffles got his from him.~~ Going to test it out to see if it works, if it works then I guess you did better than him. If i'm doing someone can make a video on the exact steps they did to make it work I would like to see it just because this has never worked for me. Edit 3: Made a video in below this edit that shows exactly what I did, if anyone can point out what the hell I'm doing wrong, it'll be appreciated. Edit 4: I'm running on Windows 7, UAC off, and game is on DX9 Video: The way I do things in this video is basically the same for Boulop's versions • • • •. Ah crap I just checked the ReadMe and it does say that Mumble will re-size them. Sorry that is a mistake by me, I spliced together the readme's from mstarr and chickenNwaffles and that was something I should have cut out. It was a feature of mstarr's mumble overlay because the crosshair was the avatar you used for the friends list overlay, mumble smiley face by default.

The way I have it, the crosshair.png is a second overlay that goes over the top of the friends list overlay so you can choose whether or not to use the friends list. Unfortunately you can't use mousewheel to scale the second one, if you want it a different size you would have to re-size crosshair.png. I doubled the size of my crosshair.png and it stayed centered. Sorry bout that • • • • •. Download Gorillaz Windows 7 Theme on this page. Several reasons: • while its not a particularly difficult hack, its more trouble than its worth if we had a viable in-game alternative if done and offered correctly (will explain more later w/ pt 4) • with in-game custom reticles we could have a custom reticle for each and every gun - particularly useful for those of us who have a diverse skill-set and utilize classes/weapons that can take advantage of a rangefinder • while this isn't exactly a big deal for a game like Tribes where there isn't an ADS element to the game, in other games this could be considered a pretty big exploit. And depending on how widespread this 'hack' gets, it could result in the feature being removed from future versions of mumble, and thus there is no guarantee this solution will always be as viable as it is now.
