I have installed my CanoScan LiDE 25 and can see it in the list of devices. But when I try to print in Fax and Scan it says I have no scanner. When I click on it in the devices to scan it says I need a WIA driver.

Canon say the problem is with Microsoft. When I search in Microsoft help I can't find where to install/ download an WIA. Anyone able to help? It sounds as though your scanner is not installed correctly. Uninstall - check for any advice in your manual [availble in their website as well] or I would first disconnect the scanner, uninstall the scanner using any uninstall facility in the Program group for it including any software [OCR program, image scanning etc - whatever separate applications came with it], then check in Device manager for any scanner remnants & delete them manually.
